Sexual Assault in Annandale

Officers and detectives arrested a 45-year-old Annandale-area man on Monday, February 16 for alleged assaults he committed on Friday, February 6 and Saturday, February 14. On February 16, the mother of the 6-year-old victim was reviewing the use of calling 9-1-1 when the victim told her mother that a man touched her inappropriately. The police were called and an investigation was initiated. The victim did not require medical attention.

Pazcual Amaya of the 4100 block of Wadsworth Court was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery for inappropriately touching a 6-year-old girl who lives in the same apartment. The suspect was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
