Armed Robbery in Beacon Hill Area
A man armed with a gun robbed an employee of Arthur Treacher’s, located at 6510 Richmond Highway, on Thursday, February 26. The victim, an 18-year-old Alexandria woman, was working behind the counter around 8 p.m. when the suspect entered, displayed a handgun and demanded money. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. The victim did not require medical attention.
The suspect was described as Hispanic, 18 to 24 years old. He was about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He wore a white and black jacket, a red or orange shirt, dark jeans and black shoes.
