Could Your Teen Be Using Heroin?
How Would You Know? 

            The Sully Police District station invites the public to attend an important meeting to address the heroin issue in Fairfax County. Residents are urged to attend and learn more about the signs and symptoms of heroin usage. Speakers will address “gateway” drug and alcohol use leading to additional experimentations and addictions. Experts will describe treatment options and preventive steps available in Fairfax County.

            Presenters include: a Fairfax County Police Department Narcotics Detective, Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program (ASAP) coordinators from three area high schools, a recovering teen and her family and a community physician who has seen the devastation caused by local heroin use.

When: Thursday, March 5, 7-9 p.m.
