Bank Robbery in Burke

            A 31-year-old Woodbridge woman working as a teller at the Provident bank, located at 5815 Burke Centre Parkway, was robbed. Two men entered the bank on Wednesday, March 4 shortly after 10.30 a.m. and announced a robbery. One suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not injured. The suspects fled on foot.

            The suspect with the gun was described as black, in his 20s. He was about 6 feet tall, with a medium build and was wearing a black, hooded sweat shirt, a black vest and a black mask covering his face. 

            The second suspect was described as white, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing a gray, hooded sweat shirt, blue cargo pants and a black mask covering his face.
