Crime Solvers Seeks Suspect’s Identity
Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man responsible for reportedly touching two women inappropriately inside a store. On Sunday, March 8 at 6:08 p.m., police were called to the Target store, located at 6100 Arlington Boulevard. An investigation determined two customers, a 38-year-old Arlington woman and a 36-year-old Falls Church-area woman, were shopping in a toy aisle around 5:35 p.m. A man approached both women individually from behind, walking very close to them. As they focused on the merchandise, he inappropriately touched them and they both turned to confront him.
Store security was contacted and the man fled on foot. The suspect was described as Hispanic, in his 20s. He was about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds with long, curly, black hair. He was wearing a blue tank top, dark-colored jeans and white sneakers. Images of the suspect were caught on surveillance video and police are hopeful someone will recognize this man.
