Arrest Made
Arlington County Police arrested Stephen Gavin on Friday, March 6 on outstanding warrants in reference to a pharmaceutical store robbery that occurred on Thursday, March 5. Detectives in Fairfax County received information that Gavin was staying at a hotel in Arlington County. Gavin, 20, of 2938 Yarling Court, Falls Church was charged with robbery, using a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Gavin was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center by Fairfax County detectives.

Pharmaceutical Store Robbed in McLean
A 25-year-old clerk at the Medicine Chest Pharmacy, 6823 Old Dominion Drive, was robbed on March 5 around 1:30 p.m.
A man entered the store, produced a handgun and asked for Oxycontin and Fentanyl. The clerk handed over a bag with an undisclosed amount of both substances and the suspect fled. There were several people present in the store at the time but no one was injured.
The suspect was described as white, around 6 feet 1 inch tall, 200 pounds and wore a black, knee-length jacket, a black mask, dark blue pants and black boots. He had a prominent black tattoo on his right forearm.
