Man Arrested for Embezzlement

A Fairfax County Public School employee was arrested for alleged embezzlement on Thursday, March 12. Police received information earlier this month that several items stolen from Kilmer Middle School, located at 8100 Wolftrap Road, had been sold to a pawn shop in Prince William County. Some of the items include electronics, lawn equipment and a musical instrument. An investigation led to the arrest of Antonio Dawson, 39, of 5915 Pratt Street in Alexandria. Dawson has been the Safety and Security Assistant for the school. He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with larceny with intent to distribute, money laundering and six counts of embezzlement.
