Woman Abducted by Former Boyfriend

A 22-year-old Alexandria-area woman called police to report she had just escaped from her home where she was being held against her will by an ex-boyfriend.

On Sunday, March 22, just after 11 a.m. police responded to the 6300 block of Moon Place. The victim reported the suspect had entered her home through a broken window and held a kitchen knife to her throat. The victim attempted to escape but was stopped and assaulted by the suspect. The victim later escaped and was chased by the suspect who pointed a gun at her. The victim was not injured.

The suspect was identified as Ryan T Allen, 21, of Fort Washington, Maryland. Police observed the suspect’s vehicle leaving the scene where they conducted a high risk traffic stop. Allen was taken into custody and a BB gun was located inside the vehicle. He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with burglary, abduction, assault and brandishing a firearm.
