Hotel Clerk Robbed
A clerk at the Best Western Hotel at 6633 Arlington Boulevard was robbed on Sunday, March 29. The 21-year-old Alexandria-area man was standing behind the counter at approximately 4:15 a.m. when another man, implying a gun, came around the counter and demanded money. The victim complied and was not injured. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was described as light-skinned black or Hispanic, in his 30s. He was approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 pounds, with short brown hair. He was wearing jeans and a black leather jacket.
