Police Unity Tour Local Tribute to
Second Lieutenant Frank Stecco
Hundreds of law enforcement officers on bicycles will pay their respects to 2nd Lieutenant Frank Stecco this week at the Mount Vernon District Station. Officers are part of the national Police Unity Tour, an annual ride held to raise awareness of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
WHEN: Tuesday, May 12, 11:30 a.m.
WHERE: Mount Vernon District Police Station, 2511 Parkers Lane, Alexandria
WHAT: Between 600-700 police officers from across the country will gather for a service that will be led by Reverend Geri Fields, Mount Vernon Police station chaplain.

- The Police Unity Tour Arrival Ceremony, which will include a full Fairfax County Police Department contingent of approximately 40 riders, led by Colonel Dave Rohrer, Chief of Police, will be held at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, between 4th and 5th Streets, NW, Washington D.C. between 2 and 4 p.m.
