Sully Police District – An 18-year-old woman woke to find a man in her bedroom shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 17. The incident occurred in an apartment in the 14000 block of Franklin Fox Drive. The suspect touched the victim inappropriately and then fled when she screamed. The victim was not injured. Detectives believe that the suspect entered and exited through an unlocked rear, sliding glass door.
The police helicopter and K-9 responded to check the area.
The suspect was described as white, 25 to 30 years old, with curly, brown, shoulder-length hair. He was approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed about 180 pounds. He was wearing a white jacket with dark stripes.
Police encourage everyone to ensure that their doors and windows are locked before going to bed. Criminal activity can be reduced by reducing the opportunity.
