Gas Station Employee Robbed

            Mason Police District – The employee of a gas station was robbed on Thursday, May 21. Police were called to the Sunoco gas station, located at 6301 Leesburg Pike at 11:32 p.m. An investigation determined the 51-year-old man was alone inside the business when another man entered the store, selected items and brought them to the counter for purchase. When the clerk opened the register, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled. The victim did not require medical treatment.

            The suspect was described as black, about 24 years old. He was 6 feet tall with a thin build and short, black hair. He was wearing a white and green Polo-style shirt and blue pants.
