Cops Quiz Kids on Prom Safety Preparedness

In preparation for their Friday night (May 29) prom festivities, school resource officers at Centreville High School will offer students an opportunity to experience what distractions such as texting while driving or a car full of friends have on their driving abilities.

           WHEN: Thursday, May 28, 11:00 a.m.

WHERE: Centreville High School, 6001 Union Mill Road, Clifton, 20124

WHAT:  Fatal Vision goggled-teens will drive a cone course across the school cafeteria as they attempt to avoid a series of obstacles/distractions that accompany seasonal prom and graduation night driving. Large adult-sized therapeutic tricycles will be used in place of motorized vehicles.

CONTACT: PIO will be on-site. Call 703-246-2253.
