Burglary in Alexandria Area
Mount Vernon Police District – Police are investigating a burglary of an occupied dwelling that occurred on Thursday, June 11 in the 7800 block of Audubon Avenue. Shortly before 2 p.m. a 32-year-old woman was in her home when a man kicked in the front door, displayed a handgun and told her not to move. The suspect then went to a rear door to let another man inside.
An acquaintance of the victim entered the home and the two suspects fled out a rear door. No items were stolen and there were no injuries.
Both suspects were Hispanic. They were wearing black clothing and black masks.
