Crime Solvers Seeks Hit and Run Suspect

            Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person responsible for injuring a 21-year-old man during a hit and run crash. Police were called to the intersection of Gallows Road and Hemlock Drive at 12:46 a.m. on Saturday, June 6. An investigation determined the victim was walking south on the sidewalk along Gallows Road. An unknown vehicle approached the victim from behind, left the roadway and struck him. The driver fled south on Gallows Road. The victim was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he was admitted for serious but non life-threatening injuries.

A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest. As always, callers never have to give their names or appear in court.
