Crime Solvers Seeks Robbery Suspects 

            Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for robbing a man on Friday, June 5 in the 6500 block of Springfield Mall. The man was walking from the Franconia-Springfield Metro station to the parking garage located outside the Macy’s store around 5:35 p.m. He was grabbed by four males inside the lower level of the parking garage. The suspects assaulted the victim, took his wallet and fled. A passerby found the victim and called police.

            The victim was transported to Inova Healthplex Franconia-Springfield where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries. The suspects could only be described as black, in their 20s.

            In addition to the $100 to $1,000 cash reward being offered by Crime Solvers, an additional private reward of $1,000 is also being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
