Woman Robbed, Then Shot With a BB

                    Mount Vernon Police District – A 19-year-old woman was robbed while walking home from a friend’s home on Sunday, August 30 around 2:40 a.m. The woman was walking near Laramie Place and Tamarind Street when two men approached her, produced guns and demanded her belongings.

                    The victim complied and the suspects told her to run away. As she turned to run, she saw a suspect point a gun at her and felt the sting of a BB pellet on her leg. The suspects then fled. The victim did not require medical attention.

                    The suspects were both described as black, around 18 years old, and wore blue jeans. One suspect wore a black scarf around his face and the other had a red, white, and blue motorcycle helmet on his head.
