Attempted Abduction in the Fair Oaks Area

            Fair Oaks Police District – Police are investigating an attempted abduction that occurred on Sunday, September 6. A 56-year-old woman was walking in the 12100 block of Penderview Terrace around 8:40 p.m., when she encountered a man who spoke to her in Spanish. The woman did not understand and kept walking. The man grabbed her from behind and a struggle ensued. The suspect pushed the victim to the ground and fled toward West Ox Road. The victim did not require medical assistance.

            The suspect was described as Hispanic, in his 20s. He was about 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds. He wore a red T-shirt with white lettering and dark pants. The suspect had medium-length, curly black hair.
