Teacher Charged with Contributing to the
Delinquency of a Minor
Franconia Police District – A 27-year-old woman was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a 15-year-old boy on Sunday, September 20. Around 1:50 a.m., a patrol officer saw the two in a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer parked in the 7900 block of Gunston Hill Lane. An investigation determined the juvenile left home without his parent’s knowledge. She is employed as a Fairfax County school teacher and met the victim earlier this year. The victim is not a student at the school where the suspect is employed.
Valerie Roesler, of 6268 Taliaferro Way in Alexandria, was arrested, transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with drunk in public and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
