Burglary and Assault in Herndon Area
Fair Oaks Police District – Two residents were beaten and cut inside their home in the 12900 block of Cinnamon Oaks Court on Wednesday, October 7. Around 12:45 a.m., a 62-year old man and a 60-year-old woman were asleep when two men assaulted them. The suspects fled and the victims summoned police. Both victims were transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital with serious injuries. At this point, the investigation suggests this was not a random target or crime.
