Sexual Assault in Hybla Valley

             Mount Vernon Police District – A 33-year-old woman was attacked as she walked on a path adjacent to the Mount Vernon Square shopping center, near the intersection of Richmond Highway and Arlington Drive on Tuesday, October 20 shortly after 7:30 a.m.A man approached her from behind, threw her to the ground, pulled down her clothing, and touched her inappropriately. The victim struggled and the suspect fled. The victim sustained non life-threatening injuries.

            The suspect was described as black, in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds. He was wearing a blue and gray, hooded sweat shirt.
