Bank Robbery in Oakton Area

            Fair Oaks Police District – On Monday, November 2, around 9:30 a.m., a 49-year-old woman working at the BB&T bank, located at 2941 Chain Bridge Road, was robbed. A lone man entered the bank, displayed a gun and demanded money. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not injured. The suspect left the bank and was last seen headed north on Chain Bridge Road in a tan or gold sedan.

            The suspect was described as black and over 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black, heavy coat and gray sweat pants.
