Man Arrested After Illicit Texts to Teen

            West Springfield Police District – A 51-year-old man was charged on Tuesday, November 17 with allegedly trying to arrange sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl. The Fairfax County Police Child Exploitation Unit was notified on Saturday, November 7 that a family acquaintance had reportedly sent the victim numerous text messages of a sexual nature. On Tuesday, November 17, the suspect arranged to meet with the victim for sex at a shopping center in the 9500 block of Braddock Road.

            Detectives arrested Joshua Nabatkhorian, 51, of 4040 Hunt Road in Fairfax, and transported him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. He was charged with use of a communication device to facilitate a sex act with a minor and attempted indecent liberties with a minor.

            Fairfax County detectives ask anyone who may have been the victim of a similar crime involving Nabatkhorian to please report it to police.
