Bakery Employee Robbed

            Mount Vernon Police District – A 36-year-old woman was robbed on Thursday, November 19 while working at the Casa Blanca Bakery, located at 2258 Huntington Avenue. The employee was inside the store around 7:30 p.m. when a man walked in, locked the door and displayed a handgun. The suspect demanded money, stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store. The victim was not injured.

            The suspect was described as white, about 25 years old. He was between 5 feet and 5 feet 5 inches tall and 125 pounds, with black hair.
