Two Women Robbed Exiting Vehicle
Franconia Police District – Three males robbed two women on Wednesday, November 25 in the 5900 block of Highmeadow Lane. The victims, 43 and 46, parked their car in the street around 11:38 p.m. and as they exited the vehicle, the three males approached. One suspect confronted the driver and grabbed her purse; she resisted but was not able to hold on to her bag and fell to the ground. The other two suspects confronted the passenger and demanded her purse. One of them displayed a handgun, grabbed her purse and all suspects fled to a car parked nearby with the two purses. The first victim drove to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries; the second victim did not require medical attention.
The suspects were described as black, between 17 and 19 years old. They were between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall; one was about 120 pounds and another was about 180 pounds. All three suspects had their faces covered.
