Two People Robbed at Wendy’s in Penn Daw
Mount Vernon Police District – Two people were robbed at the Wendy’s restaurant, located at 6329 Richmond Highway, on Saturday, December 12. Two men wearing masks entered the restaurant around 8:33 p.m. One suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from a male customer waiting in line while the second suspect stood nearby. The customer complied and handed over his wallet.
The suspect then pointed a gun at an employee, a 33-year-old woman, and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and both suspects fled the store on foot. Neither victim was injured; the male victim left the store prior to police arrival. The suspects were described as black, in their 30s, and about 6 feet tall.
