Bank Robbery in the Chantilly Area

            Sully Police District – Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Monday, February 22 around 4:20 p.m. A man entered the BB&T Bank, located at 13821 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, and approached a 48-year-old woman behind the counter. He passed her a note that implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect exited with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim did not require medical attention.

            The suspect was described as white, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed around 190 pounds. He was wearing a blue jacket, blue baseball cap and dark-colored pants.
