UPDATE – Photographs Released
Detectives have released photographs of the suspect involved in the robbery at the Apple Federal Credit Union on Friday, February 26. You can view the photographs by going to the web address above. Bank Robbery in the Centreville Area
Sully Police District – Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Friday, February 26 shortly before noon. A woman entered the Apple Federal Credit Union, located at 14260 Centreville Square, and approached a 24-year-old woman behind the counter. She passed her a note that implied she had a weapon and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect exited with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim did not require medical attention.
The suspect was described as black, 20 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighed between 160 and 180 pounds. She was wearing black sunglasses. No additional clothing description was provided.
