Bank Robbery in the Chantilly Area

Sully Police District – Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Tuesday, March 2 shortly after 5:30 p.m. A woman entered the Northwest Federal Credit Union, located at 14419 Chantilly Crossing Lane, and approached a 22-year-old woman behind the counter. She passed her a note that implied she had a weapon and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect exited with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim did not require medical attention.

The suspect was described as black, late 20s to early 30s; about 5 feet 3 inches tall with a heavy build. She was wearing all dark clothing and sunglasses.

Detectives are considering the possibility that the suspect in this case may also be involved in the robbery of the Apple Federal Credit Union in Chantilly on Friday, February 26.
