Men Steal Wallet

 

            Franconia Police District – Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in a parking garage at Springfield Mall on Wednesday, March 10 shortly after 7:30 p.m. A 63-year-old man was grabbed from behind by two men as he walked from the Springfield Metro station toward his car, parked on the second level of the Macy’s parking garage. The suspects did not show or imply that they had a weapon, but took the victim’s wallet and fled. There were no injuries.

            The suspects are described as black, wearing ski masks and dark clothing. Both wore backpacks. The suspects were last seen fleeing on a Metro train.
