Photographs of Suspect Released
Detectives believe that the suspect in this robbery may also be responsible for the bank robbery in Fairfax County on Friday, February 19. Photographs of the suspect in the robbery that occurred on Tuesday, March 16 have now been released. They can be viewed by going to the web address above.
Bank Robbery in the Annandale Area
Mason Police District – Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Tuesday, March 16 around 12 p.m. A man entered the Wachovia Bank, located at 7620 Little River Turnpike, and approached a 20-year-oldwoman behind the counter. He passed her a note and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect exited with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim did not require medical attention.
The suspect was described as white, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and weighed around 160 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt, black hoodie and black sunglasses.
