UPDATE: Three Arrested in Gang-Related Homicide
Two teenagers, ages 15 and 16, and a 19-year-old man from the Alexandria-area have been arrested and charged in connection with the homicide that occurred in the area of Manor Drive and Osman Drive on Friday, March 19.
With the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Prince William County Police, the three suspects were arrested this week. The 15-year-old was apprehended on Monday, March 22 in Woodbridge, Va.; the 16-year-old was apprehended Friday, March 26 in New York City. Both have been charged with murder.
Jorge Albarenga, of 8569 Southlawn Court, was arrested on Wednesday, March 24 in Harrisonburg, VA. He has been charged with malicious wounding by a mob and gang participation. The younger juvenile is currently in the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center and Albarenga is being held in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

UPDATE: Victim Identified in Homicide
Mount
Vernon Police District – The victim in this homicide has been identified
as Christian Perez, 16, of 8521 Silverdale Road in the Lorton area. The
cause of death has been determined to be blunt force trauma to the head.
Police have reason to believe this case to be gang related. The case
remains under investigation.
Suspicious Death in Alexandria Area of Fairfax County
Mount Vernon Police District – Fairfax County police are on the scene of a suspicious death at Manor Drive and Osman Drive in the Alexandria section of the Mount Vernon police district. A male believed to be in his late teens is dead at the scene. More details will be provided as they become available.
