Bank Robbery in the Pen Daw Area
Mount Vernon Police District – Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Tuesday, March 9 shortly after 11:30 a.m. A man entered the TD Bank, located at 6615 Richmond Highway, and approached a 22-year-old woman behind the counter. He implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect exited with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim did not require medical attention.
The suspect was described as black, in his 30s to 40s; about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a yellow construction hat, a dark sweat shirt, and blue jeans.
