Driver Dies Week After Crash

Franconia Police District - On Saturday, April 17 around 4:55 a.m., a 35-year-old driver of a 2007 Lincoln Mark IV was eastbound on Gallows Road. Near the intersection of Arheim Street, the driver struck a parked vehicle located on the north side of the roadway and both vehicles caught fire. The driver was transported to Fairfax Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On Saturday, April 24, Felipe Larcio of 768 Brice Street in Falls Church, Virginia, died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Alcohol is considered a factor in the crash.
