Police Investigate Series of Damaged Vehicles
Fair Oaks Police District – Police are investigating a series of vehicle tamperings that occurred at Oakton High School, 2900 Sutton Road, between Tuesday, May 25 and Friday, May 28. The windows of two school buses and one 2002 Honda Civic appeared to have been damaged with a BB-type weapon while parked to the rear of the school. An investigation determined four separate incidents occurred; one bus was damaged on two occasions. Police believe the same suspects are involved in all incidents.
They also suspect the same individuals are responsible for shattering the window of a 2008 Toyota Sequoia on Tuesday, June 1 around 3:33 p.m. A 51-year-old woman driving the SUV was stopped at a traffic light near the intersection of Sutton Road and Blake Lane. The victim reportedly heard a loud noise and noticed her window had been broken. No one was injured.
