Man Charged with Soliciting a Minor Online

Conversations between a man and an undercover officer, posing as a juvenile, led to his arrest on June 2. The man communicated with the undercover officer via e-mail and texting and reportedly made arrangements to meet at a local business in the Centreville area on June 2 for sex.

Around 9 p.m. the man arrived at the business, located in the 6200 block of Multiplex Drive, and was subsequently arrested by detectives. Joseph Leng, 38, of 6 Tadcaster Circle in Waldorf, Maryland, was charged with the use of a communication device to solicit a minor and attempted sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 18.
