Woman Robbed in the Springfield Area

            Franconia Police District - A 31-year-old woman was robbed by two men on Sunday, June 13. Around 12:45 a.m. the woman was walking in the 6500 block of Frontier Drive and passed two men leaning against a car. After she passed, the men ran up behind her, displayed a knife and demanded her purse. The victim gave the suspects the contents of her purse. The suspects fled in a car. The victim did not require medical treatment.

            The first suspect was described as black, 25 to 30 years old. He was about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed between 175 and 185 pounds. The second suspect was described as white, 25 to 30 years old. He was about 6 feet tall. The vehicle was a mid 1990s Ford Taurus.
