Police Investigate Suspicious Event in Lorton Area
Franconia Police District – Police responded for a suspicious event just after 8 p.m. on Monday, July 12. An investigation determined apparent skeletal human remains were located just off the roadway in the 10200 block of Furnace Road.
Crime Scene and Homicide detectives responded to investigate. The apparent remains will be collected and examined to develop further information.
