Crime Solvers Seeks “Wanted” Doctor
Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Ravi K. Veluri, M.D. Veluri currently has an outstanding warrant for sexual battery. The charge stems from an allegation made by a female patient on Thursday, July 15. The 24-year-old woman was seen by Veluri at the Family Care Medical Center, located at 4810 Beauregard Street in Alexandria, around noon. Veluri reportedly touched the victim inappropriately and made inappropriate comments.
The victim left the office and reported the incident to police. Further investigation led detectives to obtain the warrant against Ravi K. Veluri, 58, of 8305 Upper Spring Lane in Annandale. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He has brown eyes and dark-colored hair with gray mixed in. He is of Indian decent.
If anyone else has been a patient of Veluri and believes they have been victimized, they are asked to contact police or Crime Solvers. The practice is also known as “Urgent Care” or in Spanish as “Clinic Hispana.”
