Suspect Arrested in Abduction and Sexual Assault

Franconia Police District – A 17-year-old girl who had met a man on “MySpace”, arranged to meet for dinner and a movie on Saturday, July 24; the meeting did not go as planned.

The suspect allegedly abducted the teen and sexually assaulted her.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The investigation conducted by Fairfax County Police Sex Crimes detectives led to the arrest of Rony Herrera Deleon, 27, of 6731 Barrett Road in Falls Church.

On Monday, July 26, Deleon was charged with abduction, rape, object sexual penetration, and malicious wounding.
