Volunteer Working with Children Arrested

Mount Vernon Police District – Police charged George Ball, 75, of 5901 Mount Eagle Drive # 1107, with two counts of aggravated sexual battery on Wednesday, September 8. Ball turned himself in to police around 4 p.m.

Police were summoned to Groveton Elementary School, 6900 Harrison Lane, for a suspicious event on May 20, 2010. Investigation revealed that two 7-year-old students had allegedly been inappropriately touched by Ball, a volunteer at the school.
