Police Investigate Murder in Burke Area

West Springfield Police District – Police responded for a report of a shot person at 6810 Field Master Drive on Sunday, September 12 around 10 p.m. Officers located the body of 48-year-old Stephen Carr with a apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.

Police have charged David Patton, 44, 9140 Conservation Way, with murder. It appears the victim and suspect were known to each other.
