Police Investigate Shooting in Huntington Area
Mount Vernon Police District – Police responded to a report of an
incident on the parking lot at the Huntington Metro, located at 2501
Huntington Avenue, on Monday, October 4 around 10:24 p.m. Police were
called by a woman who was concerned for a family member who failed to
show up after agreeing to meet at the Metro.
Police located a 32 year-old man in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body. He was transported to Fairfax Hospital initially with life-threatening injuries. The victim’s condition has since been changed to non-life threatening injuries.
