UPDATE: Missing Vehicle Located

            An alert officer located the Lexus LX470 in the 4300 block of Americana Drive just after 11 p.m. on Monday, October 11. The vehicle has been taken to the police crime scene lab for processing.  

            Detectives ask anyone who may have seen someone inside or around the vehicle to contact Crime Solvers by phone at 1-866-411-TIPS/8477, e-mail at www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org or text “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES/274637 or call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.

 

UPDATE: Police Seek Public’s Help

            Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 2002 Lexus LX470 SUV that may be connected to the death of Yong S. Yun in the Fairfax Station area on Thursday, October 7.  The public information office is sending out a photograph of a vehicle that looks similar to the actual vehicle police are searching for; please see attached.

UPDATE: Death Ruled Apparent Homicide

            The victim has been identified as Yong S. Yun, of 5781 Ladues End Court. Homicide detectives have determined the victim died of trauma to the upper body. Police believe this is an isolated incident and are still searching for the missing 2002 Lexus LX470 SUV and continue to ask for the public’s help in locating it.

Suspicious Death in Fairfax Station Area

            Sully Police District - Police responded to a home in the 5700 block of Ladues End Court around 3:53 p.m. They located the body of a deceased 61-year-old man with trauma to the body. Homicide and Crime Scene detectives are investigating and suspect foul play.

            His car, a gold 2002 Lexus 470 SUV, is missing from the home. The Virginia license plate on the vehicle is XYW-8197. Detectives ask anyone who sees this vehicle to call the police immediately and do not approach it.
