Bank Robbery in Franconia Area
Franconia Police District – A man robbed an employee working behind the counter at the Wachovia Bank, located at 7030 Old Keene Mill Road, around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22. He displayed a knife, demanded money and took an undisclosed amount of cash then fled. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, did not require medical attention.
The suspect was described as black, in his mid-20s, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 1 inch tall, with a thin build. He wore all dark clothing and his face was partially covered.
