Police Investigate Drowning in Reston Area
Reston Police District – Police responded to the Westin Hotel, located
at 11750 Sunrise Valley Drive on Sunday, September 18 around 8:15 p.m.
for a report of an apparent drowning. Police discovered the body of a
female, Wreef Wafy Almutiri, 1, inside a hotel room. The parents of the
deceased were located on scene. The investigation continues.
