Girl Missing from Mount Vernon Area
Mount Vernon Police District - Police are investigating a report of a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing Friday, April 27. Ashlie Mae O’Brien told guardians that she was going to a friend’s home when she left the 8000 block of Oak Leaf Drive around 4 p.m. She never arrived.
Detectives have followed up numerous leads since that evening but have not located O’Brien and are asking for the public’s help in locating her.
Police consider O’Brien to be missing and endangered.
She is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 130 pounds, blond hair, blue eyes, and has braces on her teeth. She was last seen wearing a red and white jacket and yellow athletic shorts.
