Two Dead in Apparent Murder/Suicide
Fair Oaks Police District - Officers responded to a home on Trevor House Drive on Wednesday, July 25 shortly after 7 p.m. for reports of shots fired. Ihab R. Qutob, 43, of 3051 Trevor House Drive was found dead in the home from an apparent gunshot wound. Alexander A. Rios, 27, also of 3051Trevor House Drive, was found in the home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Rios was transported to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
Detectives recovered a handgun at the scene and believe no one else was involved.
