Car Dealership Larcenies
McLean Police District – Police are investigating a report of 24 catalytic converters that were reportedly stolen off of 2012 Toyota Tundra pick-up trucks at a car dealership storage lot.
Officers responded to Koon’s Toyota, 8601 Leesburg Pike, Vienna around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 18 to take the larceny reports. The vehicles were stored in a parking garage on Westwood Center Drive.
Police believe the suspect(s) stole the converters at some time between 4 p.m. Monday, September 17 and 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, September 18. The value of the stolen property is estimated at over $26,000.00. The investigation is ongoing.
