Single Vehicle Fatal Crash

            Fair Oaks Police District – Peter M. Gallagher, 22, of 11829 Wayland Street, Oakton was driving on Vale Road on Saturday, November 17 at 8:56 p.m. Near the intersection with Valestra Circle for unknown reasons, Gallagher’s 1999 Mazda Protégé drifted off the road and crashed into a concrete wall. He died at the scene.

            Gallagher was not wearing his seat belt. It is unclear if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.

            The case is still under investigation.
